I just checked it out by copying your <code>wp-admin.css</code> onto my site, and wow. What a difference a slight colour change makes. You might want to add back the <code>#admin-menu2</code> padding (<code>#adminmenu2 a { padding: .3em .4em .33em; }</code>) though. Nice!
